I was surfing through The Buzz when I came across a post where she talked about this brilliant journal calendar that she had seen at Design*Sponge. I absolutely love this idea and it's an excellant (not to mention personal) gift idea. I always keep a diary, but I don't have time to sit down at night and write about my day, every day. I sometimes do if the day had been eventfull and really fun, and something I'd like to be reminded of in the future. But other days I just write what I did, even if it was just going over to a friends house for a chat and a cup of coffee. But ofcourse some days are more special than others, like my sons first laugh, or when sat by himself for the first time.
What I'm trying to say is that this is a really fun way to keep your memories in place, year by year. The first year may not be that rewarding, but the following year, and the years after that it's fun to flip through and think: oh this time two years ago I went horseback riding with my aunt, I need to do that more often.
