Simple pleasures

Incredibly simple pleasures indeed. After going out in the freezing cold to take my little boy to daycare and to go to the gym and  after a little time of studying I now have the time to sit down, take a deep breath, drink my overdue morning coffee and browse for inspiration online before I go to work. I love days like these. Happy thursday!

One year

I can't belive it's been a year now since my little sunshine came into our lives! It's been such a wonderful time and an honour to watch him grow up to become the little person that he is today ♥

My cup of tea

Sasa Clock

This is the Sasa Clock, by Þórunn Árnadóttir. It really is quite amazing, but time consuming. It's basically a large beated circle on a spinning wheel, but -
Each beat represents five minutes. One beat falls down every five minutes.
The white beats represent one hour.
Silver and gold beats represent midnight and noon.
To find out what time it is you have to find either the gold or silver beat and count from it the hours and then mintes.
Brilliant!
I saw it here.

Nostalgía

It's always wonderful to go back in time and relive great times and moments through photopraphs. All of these pictures were taken when we lived in Mjólkárvirkjun in the west fjörds of Iceland during the winter of 1999-2000.
