In the latest issue of Est Magazine you find this home of Eva van Dongen and Freek Tromp and their two kids. It has a calm color palette of white, gray and wood - a obvious favorite of mine. I love seeing homes where the owners see the beauty in even the smallest ordinary utilitarian objects such as a timber alarm clock or a bristle dishwashing brush. Life's too short to have boring things! Right? A few of the wooden object such as the stool in the bedroom and the little buildings in the kitchen are available in their online shop, Orphan Socks.
