PLYWOOD FOR KIDS

Living in a one-bedroom apartment I often wonder how to create something that would function as my sons own space within the living room, just a little something for him to call his own, filled with nice soft cushions, toys and some of his books even. I want to keep the bedroom for sleeping only to minimize the clutter and so all of his toys are in one corner of the living room along with a really big car mat that covers the entire floor of the living room - it's a pop of color alright.

These are designed by the finnish architect Takkunen. The collection is called Luona In, which translates to something like inside with. I just love the simplicity of the plywood and it's texture. I heard they are opening a web shop soon... But perhaps I can get crafty and build us a cabin in the living room?
