I have been swamped these last few days. There is only one week left of this semester and the final projects are lining up. Very late last night I finally finished my essay for History of Design class where I wrote about sustainable architecture. It's an incredibly interesting subject to look into so researching and writing about it was very fun and I learned a lot. In my research I found this Santa Monica based design studio Minarc, run by Erna Dögg and Tryggvi. Minarc is an award winning design studio where the emphasis is on contemporary design,  natural materials and sustainability. This is one of their beautiful houses built in the country side. More pictures form the inside of the house here
